Project Overview

Award Electrical is a new electrical contractor servicing the Canberra region. The business provides a wide range of electrical services for both residential and commercial properties. Decoy worked closely with the owner Mitch to create the brand identity for his new business. We produced the business logo, business cards, letterheads, social media accounts and website design.

Brand Design

It was important to the client that the logo was clean, modern and would help the business to stand out amongst other electrical companies. With the name ‘Award Electrical’, we liked the idea of incorporating a badge style logo. With the brief in hand, the team got to work and created the visual mark which combines the shape of the letter ‘A’ with a lightning bolt to create a unique, visually interesting element that perfectly represents the company. The colour palette was kept fresh and bright, producing a modern feel that pops across a range of collateral.

Website Design & Development

The Award Electrical website is a simple one-page site, which introduces the audience to the new brand and provides insight into the services of the company. The design of the site reflects the modern, clean look and feel of the logo, creating a consistent brand identity across all mediums. The site has a WordPress content management system that will allow it to easily grow with the business over time as the business expands its capabilities.
