Project Overview

For the 2016 Lifeline Australia Annual Report we were keen to raise the bar from last year and continue with the fresh new design theme we have been working with Lifeline on to roll out across their infographics and marketing collateral in the previous 6 months. The new design theme incorporates an updated font suite, image treatments and the use of visual elements to convey information. Earlier in the year Lifeline had called on it's volunteers and supporters to undertake a series of photo shoots both in studio and on location across Canberra. We leveraged the fantastic new image library extensively throughout the 72 page plus covers document with the faces of Lifeline's valued supporters which provided a very real and personal touch. As well as the design of the Annual Report we also managed the printing procurement. The 2016 Annual Report was beautifully finished in a full colour perfectly bound A4 booklet with a 350gsm cover and 150gsm internals. Neatly tucked inside the Annual Reports is an A2 'Snapshot Poster' folded to A4 which provides a quick overview of the key report contents. Like most Annual Report projects we were able to work with a range of contributors, content revisions and to a tight deadline, supplying the finished product 1 week ahead of deadline for a stress free finish!

  • Record call answer rate of 85%
  • Development of the ABC Strategy 16-19 detailing Lifeline’s plan to grow as an organisation to help more people
  • Preparation of a National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suicide prevention strategy committing long-term resources and effort to stopping suicides
  • Establishment of Project Safeguard to protect and enhance the well-being of our Crisis Supporters
  • Successful execution of a national advocacy initiative calling on the government to double the funding into suicide prevention programs across Australia
  • Funding commitment from the Federal Government for the initial development and trial of Crisis Text
