Project Overview

The Apprentice Rewards Program is a free membership based program available for electrical apprentices working in the ACT. The program was started in 2014 as a vehicle to assist electrical apprentices with discounted tools and test equipment, information nights, networking and to provide a supportive community environment. Decoy was tasked with the challenge of creating a brand for the Apprentice Rewards Program, and applying that brand across a series of promotional items. Our aim for the project was to engage apprentices and encourage them to join up to the program.

Brand Design

We created a brand for the Apprentice Rewards Program that would appeal to the target audience and increase engagement. It was important that the brand style was guided and shaped by the POPES branding, as it was necessary for the Apprentice Rewards Program to be connected to POPES. The brand had to be applied to the general Apprentice Rewards promotional material and also be adapted for the exclusive events promotional material that are held for the Apprentice Rewards Program members. The brand that we created uses visual elements that are influenced by the POPES brand, yet is unique to the Apprentice Rewards Program.

Promotional Material

In addition to creating the brand styling, we designed a number of promotional materials, including; A3 and A4 flyers, pull-up banners, website sliders, website landing page on the main POPES website and social media marketing collateral. With the additional of the promotional materials, the Apprentice Rewards Program is now able to be promoted across print and digital platforms.
